Kangaroo leather or "K-leather" is commonly used for footwear, belts, wallets, holsters, sheaths, bow grips, linings and other small leather goods. It is famous for its tensile strength while remaining soft and pliable. Throughout Australia, kangaroos are sustainably sourced and humanely harvested by licensed hunters to protect the land, other native species and the kangaroos themselves from starving in times of drought.
